Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson will not allow Paul Taylor to leave London Road for less than £2m.

The 24-year-old forward has been a revelation for the Posh following his free transfer move from Anderlecht in February 2011, scoring 11 league goals this season.

Ferguson has admitted that he expects Taylor to move to the Premier League at the end of the season, after the player turned down the club's offer of a new contract.

However, his current deal does not expire until the summer of 2013 and the club will therefore demand the large fee, according to the Daily Star.

Taylor played for Vauxhall Motors, Chester City and Belgian club Montegnee before Anderlecht, where he failed to make a senior appearance.
