Darren Ferguson has conceded defeat in his battle to keep Paul Taylor at Peterborough United.
Taylor, who joined Posh from Anderlecht in 2011, recently turned down the club's offer of a new contract.
As a result, Ferguson now expects the 24-year-old to agree terms with a Premier League team in the summer.
"Paul has been offered a contract better than anyone else but he has decided not to sign it," Ferguson told reporters.
"He sees his future being in the Premier League and we have to respect that decision."
Taylor scored the only goal of the game as Peterborough claimed all three points against Leicester City yesterday afternoon.
