Preview: Olympiacos vs. Malmo

Sports Mole previews the upcoming Champions League clash between Group A rivals Olympiacos and Malmo in Greece.

Olympiacos have to beat Malmo at home on Tuesday if they want to give themselves a chance of reaching the last 16 of the Champions League.

The Greek outfit currently sit three points behind second-placed Juventus, who host already-qualified Atletico Madrid in the final round of Group A fixtures.

Malmo know that a place in the second round is out of their reach, though a victory over Olympiacos would see them leapfrog their opponents and clinch a spot in the Europa League.

The Swedes earned a 2-0 victory in the reverse tie back in October, but they travel to Greece having lost both of their away games in this season's group phase.

Meanwhile, Olympiacos welcome Malmo to the Karaiskakis Stadium with two wins out of two on home turf in the Champions League this term.

Erik Johansson misses out for the visitors through suspension, while Jimmy Durmaz and Luka Milivojevic are both absent for Olympiacos with thigh and knee problems respectively.

Olympiacos:

Form in Champions League: WLWLL
Form in all competitions: LWLWLD

Possible starting lineup: Roberto Jimenez; Elabdellaoui, Botia, Abidal, Masuaku; Maniatis, Ndinga, Fuster, Afellay; Dominguez, Mitroglu

Malmo:

Form in Champions League: WLWLLL
Form in all competitions: WLLWWL

Possible starting lineup: Olsen; Tinnerholm, Rakip, Helander, Ricardinho; Eriksson, Halsti, Adu, Forsberg; Thelin, Rosenberg

Sports Mole says: 2-0
