Sports Mole previews Sheffield Wednesday's visit to Nottingham Forest in the Championship on Saturday.

Sheffield Wednesday go into Saturday's Championship encounter at Nottingham Forest looking to put an end to a run of two consecutive defeats.

Following losses to Middlesbrough and Blackpool respectively, Dave Jones's side have slipped down to 20th place in the Championship table and are just two points from safety.

Forest have fared little better in recent weeks, but a win this weekend could edge them to within two points of the playoff places.

Simon Cox is expected to have a late fitness test on a foot injury for the hosts, while Daniel Ayala could return to the squad after a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring problem.

Chris O'Grady will miss out for Wednesday with a foot injury, which means that Gary Madine should continue in attack.

Recent form:

Forest: WDWLDD

Sheff Weds: DLWWLL

Possible lineups:

Forest: Camp; Collins, Halford, Moloney, Ward; Gillett, Guedioura, Cohen, Reid; Cox, Sharp

Sheff Weds: Kirkland; Buxton, Gardner, D Jones, Llera; Semedo, Antonio, Corry, Barkley; Madine, Bothroyd

Sports Mole says: 2-0
