A goal right on the stroke of half time from Kieran Lee has handed Sheffield Wednesday a 1-0 lead at the break in their Championship clash against Nottingham Forest.
The visitors came close to taking the lead in the seventh minute when Jacques Maghoma raided forward unchallenged and tried to curl a 20-yard strike at goal, which went just wide of the post.
Minutes later, Maghoma broke through on goal and appeared to have a clear passage to be one on one with Dorus de Vries, but Jamaal Lascelles tracked back to make a tackle to prevent the shot.
Forest hit back with a good chance as Ben Osborn lifted a corner into the box which was flicked into the path of Robert Tesche, but the midfielder failed to hit the target with his strike from close range.
However, Tesche did force Keiren Westwood into the action as the Republic of Ireland stopper made a strong save from close range to deny the midfielder from firing the home side ahead.
Wednesday took the lead right before half time when a header from Atdhe Nuhiu was blocked on the line by Tesche, but Lee reacted to the ball first and managed to bundle it home.
