Sheffield Wednesday eye permanent Gary Hooper deal?

A report claims that Sheffield Wednesday are hoping to sign loanee centre-forward Gary Hooper on a permanent deal.

Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly keen to secure Gary Hooper's services on a permanent basis.

The Norwich City centre-forward arrived at Hillsborough on a loan deal in late October.

However, having scored twice and assisted one goal during his last four outings, Championship outfit Wednesday have decided to offer Norwich a transfer fee for the 27-year-old, according to Sky Sports News.

Hooper joined the Canaries from Celtic for £5m in July 2013.
