Alexander Tettey has claimed that Norwich City have the squad required to earn promotion after managing to keep a number of key players this summer.
Despite losing Leroy Fer to Queens Park Rangers, the Canaries managed to limit the departures late in the transfer window, and Tettey is confident that the side are strong enough to make a quick return to the Premier League.
"At the beginning the club said they did not need to sell and they have proven that," the 28-year-old midfielder told reporters. "I think only two players have left us but the club have also brought in good coverage.
"The aim is still to get promotion and with all the players we have in the squad now, although there are a lot of games, the hope is we can push on.
"You need to have a good group of players, one that is very positive with everybody working towards the same goal. That has shown now and is good for the season ahead."
Norwich return to action against Cardiff City next Saturday.
