New signing Daniel Ayala will spend two months on the sidelines for Norwich after suffering a knee injury.

Norwich City’s new summer signing Daniel Ayala will be sidelined for two months after suffering a knee injury.

The 20-year-old suffered the blow during the club’s midweek 4-0 defeat to MK Dons.

The club’s official Twitter page said: “Injury blow - Daniel Ayala out for a couple of months with knee injury, Wes Hoolahan being monitored.”

The defender joined from Liverpool earlier this month.
