Norwich City's Chris Hughton: 'We can't afford to relax'

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton insists that his side can't "afford" to relax due to being eight points clear from relegation.

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has insisted that his players cannot "afford" to take their current Premier League place for granted.

The Canaries are eight points clear from the relegation zone in the table with 11 games left to play in the domestic season.

"Can you afford to relax? Absolutely you can't," BBC Sport quotes Hughton as saying. "There are too many stories, even in recent seasons, of clubs which have been in good positions that eventually have gone down."

The former Championship outfit go up against Southampton this weekend.
