Half-Time Report: Norwich goal struggle continues

Norwich continue to struggle for goals as they enter the Carrow Road break deadlocked with Fulham following an uneventful 45 minutes in East Anglia.

Norwich City and Fulham have entered the break goalless after an uneventful first half at Carrow Road.

The Canaries have only scored once in their last five Premier League games and are without top scorer Grant Holt this afternoon.

In his absence, full debutant Luciano Becchio led the line and was denied a first Norwich goal when Mark Schwarzer held his strike from just inside the box.

A weak Russell Martin header was the only other time that the hosts threatened to open the scoring.

However, Fulham were equally lacking in creativity at the other end as Dimitar Berbatov, who left the field to receive treatment on a facial injury, struggled to influence the game.

Damien Duff had a deflected shot land on the roof of the Norwich net but that was the closest either side came to breaking the deadlock.
