Newcastle United 're-open talks with Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis'

Newcastle United reportedly re-open talks with Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis following their initial failure to agree personal terms.

Newcastle United have reportedly reignited their interest in Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis, despite initial talks with the player breaking down.

The Premier League outfit agreed a fee with the French club earlier this month, but they failed to complete a deal due to an issue with regards to personal terms.

Despite the transfer appearing to be over, it is understood that the Magpies have re-opened talks with Gomis, according to Sky Sports News.

The reports come after Lyon claimed that Gomis was interested in a move to the Bundesliga.
