Kevin Gameiro heading to Newcastle United?

Newcastle United are interested in signing Sevilla striker Kevin Gameiro, according to reports.

The Mirror claims that chief scout Graham Carr was at the Estadio El Madrigal to watch Gameiro score in Sevilla's 3-1 Europa League victory over Villarreal this week.

Gameiro also set up Sevilla's opener within the first 14 seconds of the match.

Liverpool are also rumoured to be preparing a £10m bid for the Frenchman.

Gameiro played for Paris Saint-Germain before signing for Sevilla in 2013.
