Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has been handed a start for the Netherlands in their friendly with USA on Friday night.

The 31-year-old endured a disappointing season at Old Trafford, but he gets his chance to end it on a high after being paired with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in attack.

United teammates Daley Blind and Memphis Depay also feature, as does former Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma.

USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann includes Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan and former Stoke City defender Brek Shea in his starting lineup.
