League Two side Morecambe have secured the services of Shaun Miller.
The striker, who had been a free agent following his recent release by Coventry City, has agreed a one-year contract at the Globe Arena.
"Shaun has a good pedigree and played more than 150 games for Crewe before earning a move to Sheffield United and the Coventry," manager Jimy Bentley told the club's official website.
"He has a great pedigree and scored 19 goals in one season for Crewe so certainly knows where the goal is. He suffered an injury a recently and that has hit his career but we hope we can give him the chance to get his career back on track.
"He has fitted into the group really well and looked sharp in training and we all hope he can hit form again with us."
The 27-year-old has been handed the number 16 shirt for the forthcoming season.
