Samir Carruthers scored a hat-trick as the MK Dons eased to a 6-0 friendly win over non-League Newport Pagnell Town this afternoon.

The scoring spree started in the ninth minute when Lee Hodson blasted home from just inside the box.

It was 3-0 before the midway point of the opening period as Tom Hitchcock and Carruthers found the net.

That is how it stayed until half time, and the second half went the same way as the Dons put three more past their opponents.

Dean Bowditch and Carruthers scored two goals in a minute just after the break before Carruthers completed his hat-trick in the 55th minute, with MK taking their foot of the gas after that.
