MK Dons have begun their pre-season campaign in fine fashion after a convincing 4-0 win against Leinster Senior League side St James's Gate in Dublin.
The newly-promoted Championship outfit made a fast start and were rewarded with a goal just three minutes in, Tom Hitchcock forcing home Carl Baker's low cross to open the scoring.
The veteran winger was on hand again with an assist just after the half-hour mark as his cross into the box found Giorgio Rasulo, who chested down and sent a cool finish into the net.
Karl Robinson's charges finished the first half utterly dominant and with a third goal to their name after the 18-year-old fired home Dean Bowditch's layoff, Baker once again playing the crucial ball into the box.
The Dons made wholesale changes at the break but continued to dominate proceedings on the pitch, with Dean Lewington adding a fourth with a devastating free kick in the 69th minute.
