Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is desperate for the Blues to move for Erling Braut Haaland 'immediately', according to a report.
Speculation surrounding the Norwegian's future has cooled in recent weeks, as Borussia Dortmund are confident that they can retain his services for another 12 months.
Haaland's £68m release clause will become active next summer, but Chelsea are thought to be readying a mammoth £150m offer as they seek to win the race for his signature in the coming weeks.
According to German outlet Bild, Tuchel wants Chelsea to go all out in their efforts to sign Haaland in the current window, but a transfer ahead of the 2021-22 season is still 'extremely unlikely'.
Real Madrid and Manchester United also continue to be linked with a swoop for Haaland, but the Red Devils will reportedly not move for a new striker this summer after tying Edinson Cavani down for another year.
Haaland's existing deal with Dortmund does not expire until 2024, and he struck 41 goals in as many matches for BVB across all competitions last term.
