Thomas Tuchel to hand Armando Broja first-team chance at Chelsea?

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will reportedly hand Armando Broja the opportunity during pre-season to secure a regular first-team role for the club during the 2021-22 campaign.

The 19-year-old - believed to be on the verge of penning a new five-year contract at Stamford Bridge - scored 11 times in 34 appearances during a loan spell at Vitesse last season.

Olivier Giroud is expected to leave Chelsea for AC Milan this month, while Tammy Abraham continues to be strongly linked with a move away from the London club.

According to football.london, Tuchel is prepared to hand Broja the opportunity to impress during pre-season, as the forward looks to secure a regular spot next term.

The teenager signed his first professional deal with the Blues in February 2020 before making his debut for the club against Everton one month later.

Chelsea continue to be credited with an interest in Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland, but the Bundesliga giants are expected to resist offers for the Norwegian this summer.
