Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news and rumours, including Steven Bergwijn to Leicester City and Javi Guerra to Atletico Madrid.

Leicester City have reportedly been in touch with Ajax to discuss the possibility of signing Steven Bergwijn before this summer's transfer window closes for business.

The 26-year-old made the move to Ajax from Tottenham Hotspur in July 2022, and he has represented the club on 76 occasions, scoring 29 goals and registering 11 assists in the process.

Bergwijn has another three years left to run on his contract with the Amsterdam giants, but he is being heavily linked with a departure.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, 'several clubs' are keen on his signature, with Leicester among those interested in securing his services this summer.

Romano claims that the Foxes have already been in touch with Ajax to learn the Dutch club's asking price.

Bergwijn previously played in England for Tottenham between 2020 and 2022, representing the club on 83 occasions, scoring eight goals and registering nine assists in the process.

Atletico 'in advanced talks' over deal for Guerra

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid are reportedly in advanced discussions with Valencia over a deal for Javi Guerra.

The 21-year-old has impressed since breaking into the Valencia first team, making 51 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals and registering one assist in the process.

There has been a host of speculation surrounding the Spaniard's future, with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United both believed to be admirers.

However, Atletico are seemingly now in pole position to secure his signature.

According to The Athletic, Diego Simeone's side have agreed to pay €25m (£21.4m) plus add-ons for the midfielder, but Valencia are still holding on for a sell-on clause of 15% to be included.

Guerra was a regular for Los Che during the 2023-24 campaign, scoring four goals and registering one assist in 40 appearances in all competitions, with 36 of those outings coming in La Liga.

West Ham 'willing to sell' Ings

Elsewhere, West Ham United are reportedly willing to sell Danny Ings during this summer's transfer window.

Ings made the move to the Hammers from Aston Villa in January 2023, and he has represented the London club on 52 occasions, scoring four goals and registering two assists.

The 32-year-old has entered the final year of his contract at the London Stadium, and according to Football Insider, West Ham are willing to let him leave this summer.

The report claims that a departure for Ings could help West Ham sign another forward this summer.

The Hammers have already brought in one striker during the current market, with Niclas Fullkrug arriving from Borussia Dortmund, but the club are said to be hopeful of adding another attacking player to their squad before the transfer window closes for business.
