Manchester City and Manchester United will reportedly go head to head for the signature of Real Madrid attacker Isco in the January transfer window.
Isco is a popular figure with the Real Madrid fans, but it is understood that he has a fractured relationship with Los Blancos boss Rafael Benitez.
Man City tried and failed to sign the Spanish international from Malaga in 2013, but according to The Sun, the Premier League club still have an interest in the playmaker.
The same report, however, claims that Man United are also closely monitoring developments as they look to boost their attack for the second half of the season.
Earlier this month it was claimed that Real Madrid will demand close to £30m for the 23-year-old, who has made more than 120 appearances for his current club in all competitions.
