Manchester United are reportedly prepared to hold firm in their negotiations with Chelsea over the transfer of Jadon Sancho.
The 24-year-old is out-of-favour at Old Trafford after publicly falling out with Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag during the first half of the 2023-24 campaign.
With Sancho refusing to apologise to the Man United boss, the winger was sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund for the second half of last campaign.
The former England international featured on 21 occasions for the Bundesliga giants across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
Sancho enjoyed a nearly-historic moment for his temporary employers during the 2023-24 term, losing the Champions League final at Wembley to Real Madrid in early June.

Man United 'standing firm' in Sancho negotiations
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Man United are standing their ground as Chelsea look to secure a late deal for attacker Sancho before the 11pm deadline.
The report claims that the winger and Enzo Maresca's men have reached an agreement over personal terms, with the 24-year-old preferring a switch to West London over any other destination.
However, it is understood that Chelsea and Man United are yet to shake hands on the makeup of the loan deal which would see Sancho depart to Stamford Bridge.
Favouring a permanent exit for the ex-Dortmund man, the Red Devils are insistent that any loan move will include the obligation for Chelsea to buy should the player reach certain thresholds this season.
There is also supposedly disagreement over the wage coverage between Man United and the Blues for Sancho, who was linked to Italian outfit Juventus earlier this month.

Incomings at Old Trafford?
It has been reported that Chelsea were willing to use a pair of out-of-favour players as makeweights in the pursuit of Sancho from Man United.
England stalwarts Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell were supposedly offered to the Red Devils as part of a swap deal involving 24-year-old Sancho.
However, it is understood that Ten Hag's troops have turned down the chance to sign either Sterling or Chilwell, with the duo staring a campaign on the fringes of Chelsea's squad in face.
The Red Devils have already signed three defenders this summer to bolster their backline in the form of Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro.
