Napoli reportedly decide to demand a fee in the region of £61m if they are to sell midfielder Jorginho this summer.

Manchester City have reportedly been told that it will cost £61m to sign Napoli midfielder Jorginho.

Since the turn of the year, City - as well as neighbours Manchester United - have been strongly linked with a summer approach for Jorginho.

The 26-year-old has established himself as an important part of Maurizio Sarri's starting lineup, and the two Premier League sides are expected to make formal offers in the coming weeks.

However, according to Corriere del Mezzogiorno, the Serie A giants do not intend to sell the Italy international unless they receive an offer of €70m.

Jorginho - who has just over two years left on his contract - has made 133 appearances in Italy's top flight since 2014.
