Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has declared that his side have "finally" secured the services of Paul Pogba from Juventus.
Pogba's future has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks, with the 23-year-old tipped for a world-record switch to the Red Devils.
Official confirmation arrived from the club earlier today that the France international had been given permission to undergo a medical, but Mourinho warned that he is not guaranteed a place in the team.
"Pogba? Finally, he's amazing. Such a good player will be with us and finally we have him," he told BT Sport.
"Finally we have him. He comes to a winning side. He has to work hard to come into the team. United is the perfect club to bring him to the level that he wants to be.
"I have seen Pogba running, basketball, he does everything, so he must be fit. I will be waiting on Tuesday."
Mourinho picked up his first trophy as United manager courtesy of a 2-1 victory over Leicester City in the Community Shield at Wembley this afternoon.
