Manchester United plan Luke Shaw move?

Manchester United reportedly plan move for Southampton defender Luke Shaw following their failed bid to bring Everton's Leighton Baines to the club.

Manchester United are reportedly planning a move for Southampton left-back Luke Shaw.

The Red Devils missed out on Everton's Leighton Baines in the summer transfer after the Blues rejected their £27m offer for both the full-back and Marouane Fellaini.

Although Fellaini eventually joined the English champions, Baines stayed at Goodison Park, and United manager David Moyes is now preparing a deal to bring 18-year-old Shaw to Old Trafford, according to Goal.com.

Shaw would be seen as the long-term replacement for 32-year-old Patrice Evra, despite the club already having Alexander Buttner and Fabio da Silva on their books.
