Manchester United are reportedly still interested in signing Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic during this summer's transfer window.
The 23-year-old's contract with his Italian club is due to expire next June, and he has been consistently linked with a move away over the last few months.
A recent report claimed that Man United had cooled their interest in the Serbia international as they were keen to pursue other targets in the upcoming market.
However, according to The Sun, the 20-time English champions are preparing to step up their pursuit of the central defender in the coming weeks.
The report claims that Milenkovic will not be signing a new deal with Fiorentina, and the Serie A outfit have set an asking price of £38m.
Liverpool have also previously been credited with an interest in the former Partizan youngster, who has scored three times and registered one assist in 28 Serie A appearances this season.
