Manchester United are reportedly set to offer goalkeeper Dean Henderson a new contract worth over £100k a week in order to fend off interest from Chelsea.
The 23-year-old, who has spent the past two seasons on loan at Sheffield United, is yet to make a single appearance for his parent club.
However, the Englishman has put in a string of impressive performances for Chris Wilder's side this term, keeping 10 clean sheets in 27 league appearances as the Blades sit seventh in the Premier League table amid the coronavirus suspension.
Henderson's performances have allegedly caught the eye of Chelsea manager Frank Lampard, but according to The Sun, United are keen to keep the goalkeeper on the books at United.
The report claims that talks over Henderson's contract have been scheduled, and the 23-year-old could be in for a significant pay rise as United look to ward off interest from the Blues.
Henderson's current contract with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side expires at the end of the 2021-22 season.
