Manchester United 'quoted £15m for Odion Ighalo'

Manchester United are reportedly told they must be willing to pay £15m if they would like to sign Odion Ighalo on a permanent basis.

Manchester United have reportedly been told that they will need to fork out £15m if they wish to sign on-loan striker Odion Ighalo on a permanent basis.

The 30-year-old signed for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in January on a six-month loan deal from Shanghai Shenhua, and the striker has registered four goals in his first eight appearances in all competitions.

Solskjaer has already hinted at a permanent deal for the Nigerian, and according to The Mirror, a £15m price tag has been set for the former Watford man.

The report also claims that the Red Devils wanted to see how well the striker fared in the Premier League before considering a permanent offer, but Ighalo has already become a popular figure at Old Trafford during his short tenure.

The Nigeria international scored 39 goals in 99 appearances for Watford before leaving for Changchun Yatai in 2017 for £21m.

Ighalo's current contract with Shanghai expires in 2021.
