Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Colombian forward Duvan Zapata.
The 28-year-old, who is currently on loan at Atalanta BC from Sampdoria, scored 28 times in 48 appearances in all competitions for La Dea during the 2018-19 campaign.
Zapata has also started this season in fine form, finding the back of the net on four occasions in five Serie A appearances.
According to Calciomercato, United are considering a swoop for the striker, who also netted twice for Colombia at the 2019 Copa America.
The 20-time English champions decided against signing a replacement for Romelu Lukaku during the summer transfer window, and the club currently have selection problems in the final third of the field.
Marcus Rashford has joined Anthony Martial on the sidelines, meaning that 17-year-old Mason Greenwood is currently the team's only first-team option in the centre-forward position.
