Manchester United chiefs are reportedly set to board a private jet to Italy to hold formal discussions with Juventus over a deal for Jadon Sancho.
Sancho was banished from the Red Devils' first team after a public falling out with manager Erik ten Hag regarding his performances in training last September.
The 24-year-old was forced to train on his own before United sent him on loan to his former club Borussia Dortmund for the second half of the 2023-24 season.
At the time, it seemed as though the England international's stint at Old Trafford had almost certainly come to an end, but he returned to his parent club this summer and was reintegrated into the squad after reportedly burying the hatchet with Ten Hag.
However, despite travelling with the squad, Sancho was omitted from United's matchday lineup for the first two Premier League matches of the new season, and it seems that the Red Devils are now trying their best to move him on before the transfer window closes.

Man United to hold formal discussion with Juventus over Sancho transfer
According to Manchester Evening News, Man United chiefs are set to fly to Turin later today to hold "formal discussions" with the Italian giants over a deal for the 24-year-old attacker.
The report adds that United are eager to part ways with Sancho, who is still one of the highest earners at Old Trafford but has dropped behind Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho in Ten Hag's pecking order.
It is understood that the Red Devils will only allow him to leave this summer if it is via a permanent sale or as a loan with an obligation to buy.
Sky Sports revealed that Juventus are interested in signing Sancho but are ideally looking for a straight loan deal, which could be a reason for United's representatives making the trip to Turin to open discussions on a suitable deal.
All the while, Chelsea continue to be credited with interest in the England international despite having already made as many as 10 new signings this summer.

More business expected at Old Trafford before transfer deadline?
Sancho may not be the only player who could depart Old Trafford before the transfer deadline, as reports suggest that Christian Eriksen's time in Manchester may also be nearing its end.
The Dane has slipped behind the likes of Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount in Ten Hag's list of options in United's engine room.
Eriksen has not featured for the team this season and is currently in the final 12 months of his deal with United, which could prompt the club to move him on before Friday night's deadline rather than risk losing him for free at the end of the season.
In terms of incomings, United are believed to be closing in on signing Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain in the next few days.
It is understood that the Red Devils have reached an agreement in the region of £50m for the 23-year-old, who only joined Les Parisiens last summer from Sporting Lisbon.
