Manchester City are reportedly considering whether to rival Manchester United in the race to sign Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.
Throughout the current campaign, United have been heavily linked with an approach for the playmaker, who has impressed during his first year back in the Premier League.
However, with a number of other players said to be under consideration, it remains to be seen if United will make a big-money approach for the 24-year-old.
According to The Telegraph, a situation could arise where Pep Guardiola looks to replace Leroy Sane with the Englishman.
Providing that Bayern Munich meet their asking price, City will allow Sane to move to the Allianz Arena this summer, rather than lose the winger on a free transfer in 2021.
The report suggests that any funds, potentially £45m, generated from that sale would be put towards completing a deal for Grealish.
