RB Leipzig centre-back Ibrahima Konate has insisted that he has not been contacted by Liverpool over a potential move to Anfield during this summer's transfer window.
The 21-year-old continues to be strongly linked with Jurgen Klopp's side, and a recent report claimed that the Premier League champions had placed a five-year contract on the table for the defender.
However, Konate has denied that there has been official contact from the Reds and has said that he still has "big goals" with Leipzig.
"There are often rumours in football and many believe them immediately. I or my agents did not get a call from Liverpool. I also have big goals with RB Leipzig," Konate told Bild.
The release clause in the centre-back's contract is believed to be between €32.5m (£28.2m) and €34m (£29.5m) rather than the €40m (£34.7m) figure which has previously been reported.
Konate has also been linked with both Manchester United and Arsenal.
