CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has revealed that Borussia Dortmund have received interest in Jadon Sancho's signature during the summer transfer window.
Sancho has been a revelation since signing for Dortmund in August 2017, contributing a total of 13 goals and numerous assists during his 46 outings in the Bundesliga.
The 19-year-old's form has naturally led to interest in his signature, although Dortmund have maintained that the England international remains not for sale.
Watzke has acknowledged that contact was made with Dortmund earlier in the summer, only for him to quickly state that the youngster would not be leaving the Westfalenstadion.
Speaking to Ruhr Nachrichten, Watzke said: "A chief of one of the super clubs asked me if there was a chance. I told him he should forget about it and he never contacted me again."
Manchester United have previously been linked with Sancho, who has three years left on his contract at Dortmund.
