Borussia Dortmund are reportedly prepared to offer Jadon Sancho a lucrative new contract if Manchester United fail to meet the Bundesliga outfit's asking price for the winger.
The protracted transfer saga surrounding Sancho looks set to go on for a little while longer, with United supposedly reluctant to fork out £108m for the England international.
The former Manchester City starlet had reportedly agreed personal terms with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, but United and Dortmund are still believed to be a long way off agreeing a fee for Sancho.
As a result, German outlet Bild claims that Dortmund will table an improved contract offer for the 20-year-old if United do not meet their £108m asking price by Monday.
The report claims that Sancho's yearly earnings will increase from €6m (£5.4m) to €10m (£9m) at the Westfalenstadion, although that is still considerably less than the £340,000-a-week offer that United have supposedly tabled.
The attacker's existing deal with Dortmund is set to expire at the end of the 2021-22 season.
