David de Gea future 'not decided by money'

David de Gea will reportedly choose which football club he wants to play for rather than which team can pay him the most money.

David de Gea's future at Manchester United will reportedly be decided by where he wants to play rather than money.

The Spanish international has been linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer, and is yet to agree a new contract at the Red Devils.

Despite his existing agreement being set to run out at the end of next season, the Manchester Evening News claims that United can match any wages he would be offered by Los Merengues.

However, it is thought that De Gea's decision about where he plays football will be down to where he wants to be rather than financial incentives.

United are currently fourth in the Premier League table.
