David de Gea coy on Manchester United future as Real Madrid rumours continue

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea remains coy on his future by saying "we'll see" when asked for his thoughts on rumours linking him to Real Madrid.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has suggested that he is unsure where his future lies as rumours about a possible move to Real Madrid continue to rumble.

The Spain international has so far been quiet about speculation linking him with a switch to the Spanish giants.

The 24-year-old has reportedly been chosen as Iker Casillas's long-term replacement at the Bernabeu, but United are desperate to keep hold of their shot-stopper, who was recently named the club's Player of the Year.

According to AS, while being honoured in his home province of Toledo at a ceremony in Castilla-La Mancha at the weekend, De Gea said: "We'll see what happens with my future. I'm on vacation now and very happy for this recognition."

The Spaniard moved to Old Trafford from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
