Former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly set for a medical at Al-Nassr after failing to secure a move to a top European side.

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly set to undergo a medical at Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has been a free agent since departing Manchester United in late November, in what was his second spell with the club.

According to CBS Sports, Al-Nassr have scheduled a medical for Ronaldo, after he failed to secure a move to a top European side.

In addition, it is claimed that 'broad terms' of Ronaldo's contract have already been agreed and on top of his £830,000-per-week wages, he would be expected to earn a substantial amount in image rights deals.

Despite Portugal reaching the quarter-finals of the World Cup, the 37-year-old failed to make a real impact, even though he managed to score in the first game against Ghana, as well as starting in all three games in the group stages.

Ronaldo was then dropped for the subsequent knockout games and only came off the bench during his side's 1-0 loss to Morocco in the quarter-finals.
