Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis has denied that Manchester United have completed the signing of teenage starlet Nick Powell.
Reports had suggested that the Red Devils had beaten competition from Arsenal to land the 18-year-old, who has scored 15 goals for Crewe this season.
However, Davis dismissed the talk as speculation and said that no deal will be struck until after their League Two playoff final against Cheltenham.
"At the moment it's just speculation," talkSPORT quotes Davis as saying. "There has been no solid offer from anybody.
"Nothing will be happening until Sunday's out of the way. Maybe next week we'll know a little bit more."
It is believed that Powell could cost as much as £4m.
