Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly informed Chelsea and Manchester United that it will take a bid of £90m to land in-demand forward Kai Havertz.
The Germany international is considered one of the hottest talents in world football after playing a direct part in 36 Bundesliga goals since the start of last season.
Bayern Munich have a confirmed interest in the 21-year-old, while Premier League pair Chelsea and United are also supposedly prepared to spend big to land the young attacker this summer.
However, The Express suggests that each of those clubs may be priced out of a move due to Leverkusen's big asking price.
It is claimed that Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia plans to negotiate with the German club, but the Blues are unlikely to offer any more than £75m.
Speaking last week, former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann urged Havertz to snub United and choose Stamford Bridge as his next destination.
