Daley Blind coy on Manchester United move

Daley Blind issues a 'come and get me' plea to Manchester United by hinting that he could quit Ajax if a "nice club" came in for his services.

Reported Manchester United target Daley Blind has admitted that he could leave Ajax before the transfer window closes if a "nice club" came in for him.

Blind has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford, where he would team up with Louis van Gaal once more following their time with the Netherlands.

Although stating that he was happy to remain in the Dutch capital, the 24-year-old did little to dissuade potential suitors by claiming that things could change if the right offer came in.

Quizzed on his future by reporters, he said: "I have nothing to report. I'm happy here.

"Certainly I don't need to leave and I am happy with all the support. But if a nice club comes, then we'll talk. And then we'll see."

Van Gaal got his United career off to a disappointing start as the Red Devils slumped to a 2-1 defeat to Swansea City on Saturday - their first opening-day loss at home since 1972.
