Kenny Dalglish cancels his post-match press conference with the written media after telling TV reporters that he didn't know Luis Suarez didn't offer his hand to Patrice Evra.

Kenny Dalglish has cancelled his post-match press conference with the written media at Old Trafford.

The Liverpool boss would have had to field questions primarily centred around the continued Luis Suarez-Patrice Evra race row as opposed to the Premier League fixture earlier this afternoon, which Manchester United won 2-1 thanks to a Wayne Rooney double.

After the match Dalglish spoke to Sky Sports News and said he had no idea that Suarez hadn't shaken Evra's hand.

"I never knew he never shook his hand," said the Glaswegian.

"I'll take your word for it. But I don't know. I wasn't there. I never saw it. That is contrary to what I was told."

Dalglish also slammed the reporter for suggesting that Suarez's actions led to the fractious atmosphere both in the crowd and between the players throughout the affair, adding: "I think you are bang out of order to blame Suarez for anything that happened here today."
