Liverpool striker Luis Suarez refused to shake Manchester United captain Patrice Evra's hand at Old Trafford this afternoon.

Suarez recently served an eight-match suspension for racially abusing Evra during the reverse fixture between the two sides at Anfield in October.

The Uruguayan's actions today have come as somewhat of a surprise following Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish's claims earlier in the week that Suarez would shake hands with Evra.

Replays of the pre-match handshakes appear to show United duo Rio Ferdinand and Danny Welbeck declining to offer their hand to Suarez following the incident.
