Netherlands international Robin van Persie has surpassed Dutch legend Johan Cruyff's goal record for his country following last night's victory over Romania.
The Manchester United frontman netted a brace in his nation's 4-0 victory at the Amsterdam ArenA.
The 29-year-old has now secured 34 goals, one more that Cruyff, who netted 33 in 48 appearances during his international career.
In contrast, Van Persie has struggled to find the back of the net for United in recent weeks, scoring just once in 11 appearances.
