Nani sidelined with hamstring injury

Manchester United manager David Moyes reveals that winger Nani will be absent over Christmas with a hamstring injury.

Manchester United winger Nani will miss the festive period with a hamstring injury.

The Portuguese midfielder has not featured for United since their 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United, and manager David Moyes has admitted that the injury is worse than first feared.

The 50-year-old told reporters: "Nani has got a hamstring injury and we were worried about that. It's worse than we hoped so that might keep him out for a few weeks."

Nani has scored twice in 15 appearances for the Premier League champions during this campaign.
