Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is looking forward to a long rivalry with Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
City won the Premier League in the dying moments of the season as they came back from 2-1 down to beat Queens Park Rangers 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium.
The result meant that the Blue side of Manchester pipped United to the league title on goal difference and Mancini is hoping that this will start a long rivalry between the two managers.
"Fergie said he's too young to retire; we're happy he has three years left," Mancini told The Guardian.
"I hope we can continue to win. In two or three years, maybe he can have 10 years less [age-wise]."
City's league triumph was the first time that the club have won English football's top tier in 44 years.
