Anders Lindegaard three weeks from fitness

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson confirms that goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard will return to action within three weeks.

Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard is expected to be available for selection within the next three weeks, according to Sir Alex Ferguson.

The 27-year-old has been out of action since January with an ankle injury, but is on the road to recovery.

"Anders is doing all the running now. It will be another two or three weeks before he gets into the football side but he is progressing very well," Ferguson told Sky Sports News.

United face Athletic Blibao in the Europa League on Thursday.
