Jones: 'Fergie has tough choice to make'

Phil Jones pays tribute to Robin van Persie and says that Sir Alex Ferguson has a tough choice over who to start in attack for Manchester United.

Manchester United defender Phil Jones has insisted that manager Sir Alex Ferguson has a tough decision to make regarding his side's strikeforce.

The Scot has to choose between Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck to start in attack, with the Dutchman in sizzling form since joining the club in the summer.

However, Hernadez netted a brace during United's 4-1 FA Cup win over Fulham on Saturday while Rooney also got on the scoresheet, and Jones believes that the boss has a difficult choice to make.

"All credit to Robin. He has come in and been unbelievable for us this season," said Jones.

"He has got lots of goals. But we have got other players who are just as good, as Javier and Wayne proved against Fulham.

"With four strikers firing on all cylinders at the moment the manager has got a tough decision who to play."

United host Southampton in their next match on Wednesday.
