Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs insists that Anfield is the toughest ground to go and win a match.

Ryan Giggs has revealed that Liverpool's Anfield has been the most difficult stadium for Manchester United to collect a positive result during his Red Devils career.

The Man United vs. Liverpool rivalry is regarded by many to be one of the biggest in world football.

When asked what is the toughest stadium that he has played at, Giggs replied: "I think Anfield. Like I said before, no matter how the teams are doing there is always a great atmosphere.

"You could be playing against an average Liverpool team and it would still be one of the toughest games of the season, just because the crowd drive them on and the tradition between the two clubs."

Giggs was part of the United side that won 2-1 against the Merseysiders earlier this season.
