Michael Carrick has admitted that Manchester United have "two or three little issues" ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Red Devils will again be without the services of Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane through injury, while Mason Greenwood is also expected to miss out, having recently tested positive for coronavirus.
Speaking during Friday's press conference, Carrick said that Luke Shaw remains a doubt after suffering a blow to the head against Watford last weekend, while Fred is battling to overcome an ankle injury in time to feature.
Edinson Cavani has also recently been absent due to a tendon issue and could again miss out for the 20-time English champions, who are allegedly on the verge of appointing Ralf Rangnick as their new interim manager.
"We got two or three little issues. It is never ideal. One or two we are waiting on and Luke took a bang on the head a few weeks ago and took a bang against Watford. We'll make a call on him," Carrick told reporters. "Fred twisted his ankle, played a big part, we will have to see how that settles down. One or two others."
Man United will also be missing club captain Harry Maguire through suspension on Sunday, as the centre-back received a red card during the 4-1 defeat against Watford last weekend.
