Cristiano Ronaldo has dropped out of the Manchester United starting XI for Sunday's Premier League clash with Chelsea.
The Portugal international has been in impressive scoring form for the Red Devils this season, finding the back of the net on 10 occasions in 14 appearances in all competitions.
However, the 36-year-old is only on the bench for the 20-time English champions at Stamford Bridge, with Bruno Fernandes seemingly playing as a false nine.
Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho are also in the Man United XI, while Eric Bailly and Alex Telles feature at the back due to the absences of Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw.
Stand-in head coach Michael Carrick has selected a defensive midfield three, meanwhile, with Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic and Fred all in the team.
There is also a spot on the bench for Phil Jones, while Mason Greenwood is back in the squad after serving his self-isolation period following a positive coronavirus test result.
MANCHESTER UNITED XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Lindelof, Telles; McTominay, Matic, Fred; Sancho, Fernandes, Rashford
