Sports Mole looks at Marcus Rashford's record against Arsenal ahead of Manchester United's trip to the Emirates Stadium.

Marcus Rashford will be bidding to return to the scoresheet when Manchester United head to Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The England international had managed to score in seven successive matches for the Red Devils before drawing a blank in Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace in the league.

The 25-year-old has been in excellent form for Man United this season, scoring 16 goals and registering six assists in 27 appearances in all competitions.

In the Premier League, meanwhile, Rashford has eight goals and three assists in 19 appearances, and he will be hoping to help his side overcome table-topping Arsenal in Sunday's mouthwatering contest.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the attacker has performed against the Gunners in the past.

Rashford has faced Arsenal on 15 occasions during his professional career, boasting a record of six wins, four draws and five defeats against them, with 14 of those fixtures taking place in the Premier League.

The forward's league record against the Gunners is won five, drawn four and lost five, scoring four goals and registering four assists in the process.

Rashford starred against Arsenal in the reverse match at Old Trafford back in September, scoring twice and providing one assist in a 3-1 success for Erik ten Hag's side.

The clash earlier this season was arguably the forward's best-ever performance against the North London club, although it was not his most memorable display due to an explosive debut.

Indeed, Rashford made his first Premier League out against Arsenal back in 2016, scoring twice and provided one assist in a 3-2 victory against the Gunners.

Rashford helped the Red Devils do a Premier League double over the capital giants during the 2017-18 campaign, but he then did not enjoy another league win against them until the first half of the 2021-22 season, providing an assist in a 3-2 victory at Old Trafford.

The forward was part of the Man United side that recorded a 3-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium in 2017, although he has not enjoyed an away success over Arsenal in the league since.

Rashford has also taken on the Gunners in the FA Cup, playing the final 18 months of a fourth-round clash during the 2018-19 campaign, which ended in a 3-1 success for the 20-time English champions.
